Please read the Terms and Conditions before booking or buying any of my services.
1. Introduction
My name is Bruno Ázera, and I am a professional landscape photographer and a registered tour guide (License No. 51/2018/RAA) based on Terceira Island, Azores.
My goal is to invite outdoor and nature enthusiasts to join me on unique photography tours and workshops across the Azores and Madeira, capturing stunning landscapes and experiencing the islands in a way that goes far beyond the typical rush of travel. I believe in meaningful experiences and in building genuine connections with like-minded photographers and explorers.
By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below.
2. Registration & Booking
To secure a place on any of my tours or workshops:
Participants must provide their full name, email address, and phone number.
A deposit (typically €1000) is required to confirm the reservation.
Final payment is due 90 days prior to the start date.
Note: If a booking is made within 90 days of the start date, full payment is required immediately to secure your place.
3. Cost & Payment Methods
VAT: All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current legal rate.
Payment Methods:
Bank Transfer: Details provided upon booking.
PayPal: Accepted with a 5% fee covered by the participant.
Fees: All transaction fees are the responsibility of the participant.
Exclusions: Prices do not include alcoholic beverages, personal expenses, or any items not explicitly listed as included in the itinerary.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
I understand that booking a photography trip is a commitment, but unexpected changes can happen. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to bruno@brunoazera.com
Deposit Policy: All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another tour, workshop, or future event.
Refund Schedule (Balance): Refunds of balance payments are processed based on the date we receive your cancellation notice:
More than 90 days before start date: Full refund of balance payments.
Between 90 and 61 days before start date: 50% refund of balance payments.
Between 60 and 31 days before start date: 25% refund of balance payments.
30 days or less before start date: No refund.
Failure to Appear: Failure to appear at the scheduled start time will result in forfeiture of all payments.
Cancellation by Organizer: I reserve the right to cancel tours or workshops due to insufficient enrollment or safety concerns. In this specific case, a full refund of all payments made to Bruno Ázera Photography will be issued.
5. Inclusions & Logistics
What is included:
Professional Guidance: Included in all tours and workshops.
Photography Instruction: Specifically included for Workshops.
Accommodations and Breakfasts.
Local land transportation and Park fees.
Personal Accident Insurance and Liability coverage.
Inter-Island Travel:
All inter-island flights required by the itinerary are included in the price.
Inter-island flights are booked directly with SATA Air Açores to ensure full flexibility and direct communication in case of delays or schedule changes.
Note: Details may vary by itinerary. Please review the specific page on the website for exact inclusions.
6. Flight Delays & Third-Party Services
Inter-island flights are operated by SATA Air Açores. Bruno Ázera is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or lost luggage caused by the airline.
If an inter-island flight is delayed or cancelled:
I will assist in rearranging the logistics to the best of my ability.
I am not responsible for any additional costs incurred beyond what the airline provides under their own policies.
No refunds will be issued for time or activities missed due to airline disruptions.
7. Health, Safety & Insurance
Physical Health: Participants should be in good physical health and must disclose any medical conditions or dietary restrictions before the trip begins.
Dietary Requests: I will inform accommodation or service providers of dietary needs, but cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled. I accept no liability if these needs are not met.
Insurance: While Personal Accident and Liability Insurance are included, participants are strongly encouraged to purchase additional travel insurance from a reputable provider to cover flights, luggage, and trip cancellation protection.
8. Liability & Force Majeure
Waiver of Risk:
Participants acknowledge that photography tours and workshops may involve physical activity, unpredictable weather, and challenging terrain. By registering, participants accept these risks and agree not to hold Bruno Ázera or any associated guides liable for injuries, losses, or damages incurred.
Force Majeure:
Bruno Ázera Photography is not liable for failure to perform any part of this agreement due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather-related flight cancellations, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or travel disruptions.
9. Participant Conduct & Respect for Locations
Code of Conduct:
I reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or negatively affects the group. This includes violations of local laws or failure to follow safety instructions. No refunds will be given in such cases.
Respect for Locations:
The locations visited during my tours and workshops are the result of years of personal exploration and scouting. As a gesture of good faith and respect for that work, I kindly ask participants not to organise, promote, or sell photography tours to the specific locations included in the itinerary. This is not a legal restriction, but a matter of professional respect within our community.
10. Media & Privacy
Image Rights:
Participants agree that images and videos captured of them during the tour or workshop may be used by Bruno Ázera Photography for promotional purposes, unless requested otherwise in writing before the trip.
Privacy Policy:
Your personal information will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Governing Law:
This agreement is governed by the laws of Portugal.
